Residential programs provide comprehensive services to clients needing more intensive levels of mental health care. We provide highly supervised and intensive behavioral specific treatment in a safe and nurturing environment. Children attend school and participate in cultural and recreational activities in the community.
Provide each child with a safe, nurturing, protective, therapeutic, home-like environment supported by quality care and supervision.
Assure school and educational supports are not disrupted.
Provide a culturally sensitive experience during their stay in the shelter home.
Prepare each child for placement alternatives when reunification is not possible and work to accomplish the appropriate residential placement options for each child.
Enhance the self-esteem and skills of adolescents in the program, building on their competencies, so that they will be better prepared to adjust to and maintain their placements.
Assist the children and their families in improving relationships, whenever possible, so that appropriate family reunification can occur.
